Great cold water in filtration system under sink and on countertop

Glad I have this. Connected to my Kohler faucet. A bit noisy but only when the water cools down. I don't even notice! Doesn't take up much space. Before that I used a two-stage Kohler filter, but my plumber told me I could use reverse osmosis as well. All adapters included.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Off fashion

Super cold drinking water!

This unit delivers very cold water just as I expected. This is a fairly quiet device, but not entirely silent. It's tucked away in a cupboard under the counter so I can't hear it most of the time, but standing a few feet away I can hear a slight hum (not disturbing at all). I used to use the Insinkerator CWT00 which is no longer made. I was happy with the incinerator, but I like it better because it produces colder water. Keep in mind that these devices are large, so plan space for them under…

Great solution for colder water. We used a fridge that didn't have a cold water dispenser instead of the upgrade. The unit fitted perfectly under the sink and I hooked it up to an instant hot/cold faucet. Now we've filtered out the heat and cold coming out of the tap. We also have a whole house filter at the main water inlet that does this double filtration. The alternative to a Thermador cold water freezer costs about $6,000. The math is obvious, and even if the block doesn't last forever, the

Great cold water for kitchen and bathroom faucets

Pros
  • Takes up minimal cabinet space - 15" high, 11" wide, 9" deep
Cons
  • Great price

I've had this unit for 12-15 years and it still looks exactly like the current picture. The car worked fine. I have a family of 5 and it never ran out of cold water, seems to hold at least a few cups. The noise is audible, although it is installed under the sink, but it is much quieter than our double minus refrigerators (which unfortunately do not have cold water). It works most of the time. I've never cut closet vents, rather the closet door is old and usually stays open a half inch which is…
