Zero randomly changes to 0.001 and my measurements randomly jump 0.005 - 5 thousandths - what a bummer trying to get a reading less than a thousandth. I have other calipers that can sometimes show a change of half a thousandth and usually this is fixed by lever wear or my bad clutch, not a caliper. Those Frankfurt Arsenal calipers are crap and gave me a lot of headaches until I discovered random measurement jumps.

Calipers are a good deal, I have blocks to test them for accuracy and they are within acceptable limits after a few months of constant use. In the aircraft industry I have used much more expensive calipers. It's up to work to restart. Delivered on time. Note----Never buy from RELIABLE VALUES. They will make you sleep like a baby. You sleep two hours, wake up and cry, sleep two more hours, wake up and cry and so on and so on for 17 days.

Although the photo shows it is a full metal caliper, the vernier wheel is held by a plastic clip. I ordered 2 and both arrived with broken plastic and a floating wheel in the box - I didn't even take them out of the clamshell packaging. Based on the positive reviews and photos I suspect this product has been modified - avoid. I just received a similar replacement from Anytime Tools. and it seems to be more durable (so far).
