Bought as a keepsake (added a baseball style bridal shower logo decal). Not perfect, scuffs and a few marks. Good if used for baseball. Decent weight.

Fixed. Enough mass so it doesn't move much when the boys are playing baseball and/or kicking the ball in the backyard. Also helped my youngest son practice his batting stance.

Bought this homemade plate as a gift for the trainer park. Players could only sign it with a ballpoint pen. The coach liked the gift, which included a story about how to "make home plate 17."

Absolutely terrible quality. Apparently used with damage - the corners are bent and broken off - a huge dent and a semi-thick scratch in the middle. I wanted to use it for photos and then use it outside with the kids. So crazy. Terrible. They wouldn't even replace him.

Do you need to move your plate from time to time? We partially remodeled the backyard for my son's workout. It's easy to remove for lawn care and otherwise stays set pretty well when we need just the right distance - 46ft, 50ft, 60ft 6in from the same moving hill.

Home Plate is 17 inches wide. This one was 1/4 inch smaller. Not enough time to go back because we had to start our fall training. But why skimp on 1/4 inch? Stupid. Otherwise, it's a good weight so it stays in place, which is very important for a moving plate used in impact or serve training.
