Indeed appears to be of better quality than the mesh the reflector came with (identical Franklin unit). Either way, the mesh and large bundle of bungee cords work great! The instructions are strange. The diagram showing where all elastic cords should go doesn't have the same number of holes as the product itself, but it doesn't matter.

At first I was hesitant to spend over $30 on this new net and bungee cords to replace the original which was weathered and torn but it was quality material more than enough cords to Fasten and more kids have fun again. Installation took 10 minutes and was not a problem. I would recommend that when you install the net you install the cable and then go to the opposite side of the net to have them pull on the same. If you follow this pattern you shouldn't have a problem.

We bought these nets less than 5 weeks ago to replace the same Franklin nets (and gates) we bought 2.5 years ago. We collected them a week after they arrived and now they are separated in several places. They are absolutely awful and shouldn't be in this condition after a very short period of minimal use (we were out of town and they sat in the garage for 2 weeks). I would contact the seller directly but I can't find any contact details. Hence the negative post.

Great product. I decided to buy replacement grilles instead of the entire reflector because I needed to build a custom barrier between me and my grumpy neighbor who didn't like a basketball rolling in his yard. worked great. I was able to dig two 3/4 inch rigid pipes in the ground 12 feet apart and attach a mesh to them. Works great to keep the ball out of neighbors yard. I will buy another one to make my own soccer net.
