Description of 🍷 Enhanced Franmara 2037-BU Boomerang Waiter Corkscrew with Dual-Action Soft-Touch Grip and Built-in Foil Cutter

Perfect gift for those that love corkscrew. Great design and craftsmanship. Measurement: H: 5.12 x W: 1.43. Boomerang the first step extracts the cork partially. The second lever pulls the rest of the cork straight-out. Spring-loaded floating axis at the boot lever. Soft-touch rubberized handle. Teflon spiral, extendable foil cutter.

Loved the foil remover.

This corkscrew is easy to use, like other two-stage corkscrews. What's funny is that the foil cutter isn't a knife, it's just a screw that is screwed onto the top of the bottle. Twist and bingo, the foil gently releases in 3 seconds.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Crumpled

Two steps are useless. for kitchen and dining room

I am a bartender and this bottle opener is not good at all. The two tiers don't work as intended as they don't have a second hinge to allow either set to be used to open the wine. I didn't pay attention to the picture when ordering.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Some mistakes

The best screw for you!

Overall the best corkscrew I've ever used. Unless you work at a super premium bar with big bottlenecks or frequently opened magnums, this bar is king. Excellent grip, two levels for hard caps and a clean foil cut every time. Wear and tear is normal, with heavy use it can break after a year or so, but in my experience that's average for a tool under $300.

Good corkscrew! in Kitchen Appliances and Gadgets

These are really good corkscrews. The two-tier design works great once you get the hang of it. The integrated foil cutter is great (much better than the pulltap). The only thing that bothers me is when the cork is very tight. How to fight them. I bought a couple of these as gifts, keep one in my wine bag and the other in my travel kit. All were consistently good.

Pros
  • Not only useful for the intended purpose

great bottle opener Top in Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

As a waitress I don't open many bottles but at least a few bottles a week. The good thing about this opener is that it has a foil opener right above it, all in one piece. The only thing I don't like is that the first step is short and the last one is so long. I wish there was an intermediate step for shorter plugs. I have to carry this with me all the time, otherwise the other servers keep trying to steal it from me!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Working speed

Does not match the description and appearance

Cheap corkscrew, does not match the picture (full color is different, design/holes are different, knife included). I will definitely return it. I hope it was a joint, although the description on the box says it's correct. Not sure why it's a soft-handled item - it looks like cheap, hard, blank plastic to me. It's far from evenly weighted and not pleasant. The silver corkscrew doesn't seem to be durable.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Thin

The best corkscrew!

The best corkscrew I've ever had! I received my original 1994 Franmara from the Mirrasou (sp?) winery in Pasa Robles, California. It took more than 23 years until the screw broke after opening probably a few thousand bottles of wine! I was heartbroken, but found a replacement in Revain. This one is even better with a bladeless foil cutter. Be sure to purchase the 2037-BU with the black teflon coated forged screw. Chrome plated screws don't work as well. The two-stage movement takes a few times…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Problems

Does not conform to the description. It didn't have: - A rubberized soft-touch grip. - Teflon spiral, retractable foil knife. It was basically the same as all similar Boomerang corkscrews. I bought this particular one thinking the rubberized handle and teflon spool would work better for my daughter who is a barista and uses a corkscrew for work every day. But since this one is no better than the others, I changed it to a purple opener. The purple opener is slightly smaller and lighter and fits…

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Infuriates

TSA Approved Corkscrew

Bought to take to Europe for TSA testing. In another review, it was recommended by a flight attendant, so I thought "good enough for me". Well I tried it and was really impressed. It's light but strong, the foil cutter worked great, and best of all the screw went into the cork like clockwork. I have a quality stainless steel wine bottle opener (which I love) and this thing is just as easy and requires no weight. The teflon coating on the screw can scratch, but I know that happens and I'll be…

  • Sequins
