Frb1 FastFerment FRBB-24 Bottle Drying Rack Review

This bottle rack fits into a bottle crate and takes up little more room than the bottles themselves. It is ideal for long neck 12 ounce beer bottles. The only downside is that the legs are solid throughout, so there's no clear path for water pouring from the bottles above. It would be better to cut a slit vertically from "leg" to 1/2" to allow water to drain.

When I received the item I was surprised at how good the quality is in terms of durability and how long I expect it to last. Definitely not cheap plastic. I could probably stand on it (I weigh 280 pounds) and it wouldn't break. After using it for the first time in drying bottles, I didn't find any cons in it, except that it's not free! I would recommend it to anyone who frequently washes and dries beverage bottles.

Can be used for rocker arm caps but requires removing shackle and plug each time. Since I brew kombucha and kefir water and both require a cap that doesn't cut into the ceiling because it fires earlier than three quarters of the product in the bottle, I use swing tops. It works wonders for straight neck bottles with no shackles so this one isn't wasted for me. I'm always happy to pass on the award and somewhere someone is brewing beer. Overall this is a great product. I just wish I knew there was a real 12 bottle Fastrack. I bought this because I wanted to organize my wine bottle storage and I loved the design of this product. When I originally searched for them on Amazon the only thing shown was a 24 rack system but the description says you can still fit 12 wine bottles in there so I figured that was what it was for rapid fermentation would be available. I love FastRacks. Now I have about 10 of these and am a happy brewer. I only have one comment and that is due to the lack of a rack made specifically for shorter bottles (e.g. Sierra Nevada bottles) which are slightly wider due to their shorter height. It would be nice if FastRack made the overall area a bit wider to accommodate either short bottles at their extra width or taller bottles at their normal width. As a home brewer, I wash used, empty bottles all the time; or their disinfection and filling. This is a great, simple product. I put it on a towel on the counter by the sink, and when I wash yesterday's bins, I just clean them out and put them in the FastRack. On bottling day, I dip the bottles in leave-in sanitizer, sanitize the counter, and then put the bottles back on the counter to dry.
