Close but not perfect

The product works as advertised but here's the rub. The standard egg you buy and use in American cooking is large. Every recipe you will ever make is designed for this, which is why most of us only use large eggs. This shape is suitable for a large egg, but with this shape there are a lot of air gaps around it as it really needs a very large egg. While it works, it doesn't work unless I buy special eggs. Hence I deducted a star. Otherwise it's gold.

Nice and fun idea but takes a while and doesn't work as the picture shows.

This product is working properly. Maybe I should use medium sized eggs rather than large ones as every time I try to put large eggs in the mold the mold is difficult to close. The eggs stand very well on small legs, which was a pleasant surprise! However, I still lack the right design. It seems like I can only make chickens that look like zombies. The making process takes a little time, it takes about 20 minutes to make a chicken from an uncooked egg to the finished product. Nice and fun idea…

To beat the quarantine blues, I decided to add some joy to my homemade meals with this super cute dinosaur mold! *** IF YOU CAN'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR YOU! *** Do not put this mold in boiling water, otherwise you will deform or damage it. Large eggs work best for this product! Boil the water, boil the eggs for nine minutes, cool in an ice bath for two minutes, then peel the shells.
