It's perfect, just the right size! My daughter is 8 years old but she has long legs. uses 14 (XL). She is fat but not fat. I have a hard time finding long descent skirts without going into the teens section that fit differently anyway. So I found them and thought they were a good fit and quality. I expected what I got and am satisfied! Not the best quality but for the price it was worth buying.

So nice to find something that fits my tall but slim daughter. These skirts hit her ankles and fit around her waist too! You have no idea how amazing it is! She is 4'5 and 60 lbs. In order to get something that fits her in length (to mid-knee or below) I have to increase the size by 2. This makes their clothes too big for them. These skirts fit her perfectly. I had them hemmed to mid-calf and they are adorable!

The skirts are very pretty. The material is stretchy yet thin, which gives them a soft feel. My only complaint is that the sizes run small. According to the size chart, my granddaughter would wear a medium. I ordered a large and they fit her perfectly, but they are ankle length and not mid-calf.
