Great for laying floors

This has worked really well on my hardwood snap-on floors. I still used the ground chip on the edge to tap it but I'm impressed with this hammer.

Pros
  • Lightweight design for less fatigue
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works, strong, but. for mechanical and hand tools

I bought this hammer for the floor nailer because the floor nailer I bought was not included. Well this nailer isn't the best so I bought a new nailer that came with a hammer. I've used several ground hammers and this one is heavy and expensive. It's cheaper if you buy a nail hammer, but if you need a spare, this one will do.

Pros
  • Compatible with all floor nailers
Cons
  • Not sure

The ideal hammer for laying floors.

This hammer is essential when installing laminate floors. The weight is perfect for pounding in flooring, and the rubber mallet on the other side lets you quickly tap the clamps into place. The handle is larger than a normal hammer, which makes it easier to handle and makes laying the flooring much faster. I'm not sure how heavy the hammer is, but it's perfect for ground work.

Pros
  • Compatible with Freeman PFL618BR 3-in-1 Nailer
Cons
  • High Price

The handle is a thin piece of oak and hickory would have been better. But there is no reason to really complain about the pneumatic nailer, so if used judiciously it should last quite a long time. I reinforced the grip a bit with my silicone tape about halfway to the grip to make the hit more comfortable. With a pneumatic nailer, the blow really hits the…
