This hammer is essential when installing laminate floors. The weight is perfect for pounding in flooring, and the rubber mallet on the other side lets you quickly tap the clamps into place. The handle is larger than a normal hammer, which makes it easier to handle and makes laying the flooring much faster. I'm not sure how heavy the hammer is, but it's perfect for ground work.
