High quality booster rings!

Made with quality materials and craftsmanship that meets or exceeds the competition. I haven't had any issues with any of the PolarPro Boost rings getting stuck.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Retail Availability

Great for accessories

Works great although you can't use the factory lens shade with large filters. Although the camera has a 62mm lens, switching to a 67mm filter increases the number of filters available.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

EXACTLY what I needed!

I'm tired of using more than one boost ring to use my filters. I bought the largest filter size I needed for my lenses. I have some regular screw filters and now some more Freewell magnetic filters. This is just what I needed to change filters and lenses in one go!

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Useless features

A great addition to a quick change system.

So the size is so thin. It works great with the quick-change system, allowing filters to be screwed on or the lens cap simply snapped on. I have this on my Sony 10-18mm with 67mm Freewell ND. There is a very small vignette at 10mm, but it disappeared by about 11mm. I highly recommend this system.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Does what it's supposed to do

A bit pricey for a single promotional ring but I guess you pay for what you get. I have several lenses with a 67mm filter ring, but my largest lens is the 82mm lens. This allows me to use all of my Freewell ND and CPL magnetic filters on most of my lenses. This still allows me to stack multiple filters without worrying that they'll just fall off.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Good but not great

Super Useful Step Up Ring

This adapter ring is very useful as it allows me to adapt my filters to multiple lenses instead of having to buy different filters for each lens with different diameters. The build quality is superb and it even comes with a soft magnetic carrying case to protect it when you're not using it. I use this on my Sony A7iii and a 55mm lens and it allows me to use my 67mm filter seamlessly without bloating.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Freewell Amazing Step Up Rings for Freewell Magnetic Filters

Freewell doesn't include a magnetic ring in its filters but I like it better because I buy big round filters and I usually buy boost rings. I like the colors of the Kase magnetic filters compared to the Freewell ND 10 apertures, however I had to buy an extra boost ring to attach the supplied magnetic ring, not to mention the price difference between Kase and Freewell. What I really like about the Freewell Boost Ring compared to the Kase is that the Freewell has a front thread for screwing in…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

72-77mm sucks; 67-77mm works well.

Update (March 2, 2021): Downgraded to 1 star. The 72-77mm ring is not reliable at all. Even with Xume's magnetic lens cap, it's easy to remove. A total disappointment in use. Let's get to the breakthrough. Original review (February 8, 2021) There are two sizes of these step up rings: 72-77mm and 67-77mm. I had no problems with the 67-77mm rings but had to return two different 72-77mm rings as they came loose easily. The third seemed to work, but I was wrong to believe it. I had a Freewell 77mm…

High quality filter at an affordable price and ease of use

I bought 2 ND filters for a trip to Maui to take slow motion shots of a sunset in Haleakala National Park. It worked like a charm. The filters had very little color shift. Also, each of the ND filters came with a UV filter, which saved me some extra money. I mainly use UV filters as lens protection, especially in dusty places like Haleakala National Park. Some of the trails to the dormant volcano were very dusty, which helped make cleaning easier and reduced the chance of damage. I took the…
