To be honest I wouldn't buy this top again for the sole reason that I don't like the navy blue and red stripes showing when worn the collar opens naturally when the first button is left undone and the stripes are visible. These are great, DURABLE uniform shirts for my 4 year old Pre-K. She is very active and comes home every day with paint, dirt and food all over her shirts. Washed several times, no signs of wear or scratches. She is 38 pounds and about 40 inches tall and I have ordered 6x. The 6x has a bit more leeway, but it still has an individual feel.
