No factory seam like pleated shorts. The overall sizing (fit) is not comparable to the pleated shorts - they run smaller - but the length is as expected.

Before purchasing this item, I took my son's measurements and followed the size chart. Waiting quite a long time to get an item only to find out it's huge. So now I either have to buy another set or adjust them.

My son is 9! He is tall and very thin. Moves too fast for buttons so it's PERFECT! He can put them on and they are long enough even without a belt, which is never the case! Get those skinny mamas!

These are rubber bands with fake buttons. I wouldn't mind for my kindergarten, but I don't like them for my older boys. But they will wear them because they fit well and until the shirts are tucked in there's no telling.

My son loves to wear anything with an elastic waistband, but he needs to wear a belt as part of his school uniform. When I found her he was very happy. The only thing is the length, they are longer than we would like (a few inches above the knee). We sewed them up, so it's easy to fix.

Works well for a 6-7 year old boy wearing a uniform. He knows how to raise and lower them quickly. The stretch in the waist is good. They're longer than I thought, but that's okay.

Ordered for his kindergarten child. They are very large, so it is better to take 1-2 sizes smaller. These are really good shorts for school. Excellent stuff.

My son tends to be hoarse and doesn't fit in very well, but these fit him perfectly. I ordered a size up the first time to see if they fit and they were a bit big. So I was allowed to exchange for a smaller size. It was an easy and quick process.

I don't know who in the green land of the gods thought these shorts had to be so long. There will definitely be a return. I'm not sure I can even give these ports (trousers/shorts) away for free.

They're perfect for younger students who worry about buttons and getting to the bathroom on time. Fast mounting and dismounting as well as belt loops, which are necessary for school uniforms. you are beautiful

My grandson is tall and thin. Typical school uniform shorts are too loose or don't have an adjustable waist, but these fit perfectly!

only complaint is that they are long but i have bought several pairs in different sizes, they are stretchy enough in the drop to take a size smaller than normal fit to buy

My son loves these shorts. We moved to a school where uniforms are required and they are perfect for basketball shorts. Outstanding quality for the price.
