This shirt is so cute and my granddaughters love it. I thought I would like to try this style of blouse. My granddaughter is 5 years old and will be a bit stocky as she grows up. I wouldn't say overweight, just baby fat. She weighs 59 pounds and is 44 inches tall. I ordered her a size 12 as that is the size she normally wears in french toast. The shirt was so small. It can't be true size 12. This shirt is very small but it's sooooo cute! Order a few sizes up. A very good quality.

Bought with the sweater shown in the photo and together they are just fantastic! The shirt does not stretch. one size up as she immediately said the sleeves were tight. I could put my finger up the sleeve but she felt uncomfortable and she said she couldn't move very well. She usually wears a size 7/8 or 8 and I ordered a 10 again to match her size. It fits well except for the sleeves and is a decent length, but I have a feeling we'll get by one size up all school year and it'll be comfortable.
