My hair has grown much longer than usual while I was at home. These hair combs were just what I was looking for to keep my hair back and out of my face while sewing and baking. There was nothing like it at CVS or Walgreens or in the big boxes next to me when I ventured onto the street. They are the perfect size and appear to be very durable.

Love these combs. They were meant to replace the old combs I used to keep my hair out of my face when I was gardening. I've lost them for good, but they are taller and do a better job of holding up and down the long, straight hair on the sides of the head.

I think it's very good value for money. They are stronger than I expected and much better quality than the ones I always buy at the pharmacy.

I'm used to these hair clips from Goody which I think are a bit more textured but I gave these a try. Unfortunately (for me) they are too "smooth". They slide right out of my hair. I can withdraw a small amount or a large amount - it doesn't matter - they just don't stop there. Let's go back to Goody. They look really strong, beautiful and shiny. But they just don't work for me.

I use clips to hold my hair at the back of my head. I wasn't impressed with the holding power of the bobby pins but then my hair is very thin and thick. The hair clips are good for an hour or so and then my hair falls out.

UPDATE: Prongs break like dollar stores. They don't cost extra! They don't even hold my hair; They are either too slippery or not positioned properly to hold the hair. I've spent way more on them because all the ones I buy at the grocery store or dollar store break teeth all the time. Plastic seems to have become cheaper and less durable.
