This is rubbish. The bottom part that holds everything was torn - it couldn't be screwed on. I needed this for Christmas and got it for Christmas so I had to use it to hang my stockings. DO NOT buy this. It takes a lot of screws, nails, wood glue, etc. to stand up. I leaned it against the wall with the stockings on to avoid knocking it over.

Overall a great hanger for all our dog stuff. The screw holes in the center did not match to insert the screw. With a little "persuasion" with a rubber mallet I was basically able to assemble it, although it still needed a felt slider under one of the legs to align it with the others.

We love this hanger! We use it as a Christmas garter and it holds up great. I was concerned about durability but it's very strong. For our large family at Christmas, 16 large and very full stockings fit (2 on each hanger). We like it very much and it can be easily stowed away even without a Christmas tree. The photo only shows our personal family Christmas stockings, unfortunately I didn't photograph him with all 16 stockings.

The fitting instructions included in the package are shown above. Essentially, you start from the bottom and build it up. The 3 studs are longer than the other 2, so these 3 are for the bottom 3 holes. I think most people who had construction issues missed this detail. Set up very quickly without tools. We got this for dressy attire and it looks great. I might as well use it for Christmas stockings as other reviewers have mentioned.

We currently use this hanger as a suspender belt, it is much cheaper than any real suspender belt and is also very durable. I also love that after Christmas is over and stockings are off, my toddler can hang his coat on himself instead of waiting for mom or dad to come and put his coat back in the closet for him. There were literally no tools or tiny parts. All accessories are built into the hanger, which simplifies assembly. Our 3 year old loved it so much we can help put it together!

At first I was very disappointed with this item. I spent a full 30-45 minutes trying desperately to put it together before finally calling my husband to make sure I wasn't crazy. What other reviewers have mentioned is true: the exposed screw intended to screw into the base wasn't long enough to actually reach the threads on the bottom.
