Caution. Oral Care

This product is very hard. The powder made me cough every time I poured it into a jar to clean my night guard, but more importantly, it left a chemical coating on my night guard that essentially burned the inside of my mouth. The inside of my cheeks, upper and lower lip have been affected for a few months. It's like I've been sucking on sunflower seeds all day and the salt has wrinkled my mouth from the inside. This feeling lasted for several weeks even after I stopped wearing night guards. So…

Detergents are not worth it

Don't waste your money on this. I don't think it cleans as well as plain old baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. After the soaking time is up I still have to brush it to get rid of the build up. With baking soda and peroxide, my retainers come out clear and deodorized without cleaning. The only advantage of this tool is the packaging. It's good for travel, but that's probably the only time I'll use it. Save money and buy a large bag of baking soda and some hydrogen peroxide from any of the big…

Dip or Tin Powder or Crystals Individual Packs - Winner

I was skeptical at first. The color of the crystals disappeared shortly after adding them to the water. Previously the blue color of Efferdent Crystals stayed until I finished rinsing. To my surprise, I got the same fresh, clean Acryon I've always had. So a new name or a new product. Same as previous results. A wonderful product for cleaning and removing odors and bacteria. This is a very good product that I intend to continue using. Take this from a man who has been wearing his retainers since

Carefully. Detergents

This product is very aggressive. The powder made me cough every time I poured it into a jar to clean my night shield, but more importantly, it left a chemical coating on my night shield that essentially burned the inside of my mouth. The inside of my cheeks, upper and lower lip have been affected for a few months. It's like I've been sucking on sunflower seeds all day and the salt has wrinkled my mouth from the inside. This feeling lasted for several weeks even after I stopped wearing night…

I don't order anymore

Some people might like this stuff but I thought it was awful. I can't say it brightened or cleared my mouthguard that much. That's why I bought this. Also, this thing leaves the worst taste on your side. I couldn't keep it in my mouth. I can stand minty mouthwash and stuff like that, but it's NOT mint. I don't know how to describe the taste other than TOILET CLEANER? It's not like I've ever squirted a TB cleanser in my mouth... I can imagine what it might taste like. although that might be…

Warning - your fixative may turn blue!

Buy something else. Two problems with this product. 1) As other reviewers have said, it's a fine powder and when you open the package and pour it in water it makes you cough even if you're not that close. I did not find it safe to inhale. 2) I accidentally forgot to take the retainer out of the solution after 10 minutes (let sit for 1 hour) and it turned my retainer blue! It was a brand new clear retainer. Bad things happen well. I'm an adult and I accidentally forgot, and I'm sure teenagers…
