Buy something else. Two problems with this product. 1) As other reviewers have said, it's a fine powder and when you open the package and pour it in water it makes you cough even if you're not that close. I did not find it safe to inhale. 2) I accidentally forgot to take the retainer out of the solution after 10 minutes (let sit for 1 hour) and it turned my retainer blue! It was a brand new clear retainer. Bad things happen well. I'm an adult and I accidentally forgot, and I'm sure teenagers will do the same. Sure, the directions say not to leave it in the solution for more than 10 minutes, but they don't tell you what will happen if you do. This product is too relentless. You can't always control exactly 10 minutes for soaking the retainers. The bruises won't come off. I switched to Kleenite and am very satisfied. This is also a powder but not as fine as this one and it won't make you cough. I haven't seen any new stains from it even if you leave it on for an hour. There were many good reviews.
