🔥 Enhanced Freud DHSAR375 Diablo Mandrel Upgrade for Improved Performance Review

This is a replacement. I already have a few crowns and just haven't had time to research crown and spike compatibility. If I had, I would not have bought this replacement. The latter only lasted 4.5 doors before the bearings literally jumped out and it stopped holding both the hole saw and drill bit. The only way I could finish the final door was by carefully positioning the drill and relying on pressure to hold it all together.

This is the part I've been waiting for, I bought the saw myself from Home Depot and had to wait a week for delivery. After receiving it and seeing that there was no pilot and nozzle with it, I looked around and bought it here, as soon as I got home from work, I started using it. I loved how easy it was to put on and take off, but it broke when I drilled the first pilot hole. I gave 3 stars because I hope it was just a pilot jet defect, I will buy another pilot jet and hope for the best.

There is a MAJOR design defect in the adapter nuts supplied with the quick coupler. Using a quick change, i.e. welding the hole saw nut to the hole saw, on Freud/Diablo designed hole saws is a great tool and works great. However, if you are using the included adapter nuts on older hole saws and for some reason need to flip the bit (since there are no pins holding the holder saw in place) the adapter nut simply unscrews and the bit stays in place. .
