Not worth the money - Avoid

Based on my experience, this router bit is ineffective and not durable. The one pro is that it looks nice in the packaging. However, the cons outweigh the one pro. It is expensive and doesn't work well on tough materials. I expected better quality from an industrial and scientific cutting tool. Save your money and choose another brand.

does what i wanted.

This Freud bit does exactly what I expected it to do - it makes a very nice smooth cut in maple and mahogany. I used it to make some slip joints. I would recommend it.

Unexpected Processing

router was used on a light router table, 1/4" ash boards were beveled at 7.5 degrees and after about 30 minutes of operation the dovetail router head broke the shank 1/2". Examining the Brittle fracture surface shows the start of a crack in the notch, probably created by residual cutter marks on the shank along the radius of the cutter I should have known, always use the Whiteside club now ordered.
