Every time I pour this jug, the water runs down the side of the glass onto the counter, not just down the spout. I compared it to another jug I have that has a similar design and found that the base of the lid doesn't expand so the water just spills over the edges of the lid when pouring. This renders this pitcher unusable and half the water ends up on the counter. I do not recommend.

The size is perfect for my fridge. The lid/spout has a large open "slot" and another opening with "grates" to keep fruit or ice out of your glass. The problem is that when you close the lid, no matter how it's positioned, liquid will leak out from under the bottom of the lid and thus splash all over the counter, not just into the jar. It is also not possible to shake it off without splashing, even when the slots are "closed" and the lid is held in place. I take the lid off every time I pour.

Was looking for a pitcher that wouldn't take up much room in my fridge. It meets all requirements. Compact, thick glass. Holds 2 liters. I didn't give 5 stars because the lid is a bit flimsy, like in flimsy plastic. For a high-quality jug, I think a lid is much more important. It kind of snaps into the mouth of the jar, but I want to seal it with a rubber gasket to prevent leakage. Overall I'm glad I bought it.

This jug is rubbish. It will spill as you pour and refill. It licks just sitting there. There's always a mysterious stain waiting impatiently to wet the bottom of the pitcher after pouring. With or without a lid, it will find a way to leak out. It also oscillates on flat surfaces. Spend a few euros more for something else. Don't buy this. And if you accidentally bought it, just toss the bag in the trash right away and pretend it never happened.

This beautiful jug is exactly what I was looking for. This is the perfect cooler pitcher for ice water. It has just the right amount of water in a crystal clear container that you can see through, so I know exactly how much water is in the jug. It's not big or bulky, the kind that takes up too much fridge space. It's so annoying! This jug is just perfect... And it looks great in my fridge, not a silly plastic thing or anything! This is (in my opinion) a must-have household item. If you don't have at least one of these pitchers, you'll need to buy this one. It's very easy. But the good thing is that it's made of very thick, durable glass. The handle is convenient to use at the top. The spout is removable and we can rotate it to block it or position it to pour the liquid.
