Spout does not direct popcorn into bowl. Instead, the popcorn flies horizontally through the hole and flies all over the kitchen. Half of the beans also pop out unopened, and some pop after popping out, causing even more popcorn to pop out of the bowl. I doubt this device was ever checked by quality assurance. It has fundamental flaws in every aspect of the work.

I bought this because after reviewing the questions section I saw that someone replied that it was BPA free (or at least all food contact surfaces ). I'm not sure where they got the information from as nothing is listed on the device or box. What is marked directly on the popper is the CA cancer warning. Sorry, I'm not interested in throwing a cancer party with my popcorn. returned

I've never had a microwave (nuker). I like when random and fun things pop up, I can add whatever I want without any mess or fuss. I let my little popper heat up for 1 1/2-2 minutes, fill a butter melting bowl 2/3 full with good quality fresh kernels, pour in, cover and watch as my surrounding bowl spreads
