🔥 Efficient Frigidaire 316489400 Gas Range Oven Igniter Review

Excellent replacement. Before ordering, I watched a few videos on YouTube to make sure the installation process was right for me. To ensure a correct fit, there was only a slight bend in the metal plate. Works well, I saved $$$ on a call.

We ordered this part after waiting for the same part as ordered on the online home appliance store (4-6 weeks before delivery). We weren't sure if it would work with our hot tub gas stove, but since it was a third of the price and offered two-day Revain shipping, it was worth it. Yes! Easy assembly and perfect fit! We will cancel the other part we ordered!

Works as described. My only issue was that this part actually had two pieces of metal to attach to instead of one, requiring me to bend the bottom piece of metal to fit properly. Luckily I didn't break the ceramic as after installing I saw a review that said the ceramic breaks if you try to bend the metal. My oven heats up better and faster than it has in 2 years. We didn't realize how bad it got. This was a purchase at a much better price than anywhere else I could find.

After realizing that my oven wasn't working I decided to google and find out what the problem might be. Everything pointed to the detonator. I went to Revane and found this detonator. Received in 2 days! Installed the part - had to bend the body where it will be mounted in my oven as this igniter was a bit wider as it had a protective cover surrounding the igniter. Soldered the connector from the original block and voila! The oven runs like clockwork again. Very easy to install and still works…
