They are quite successful in keeping my sheets on my double bed. My mattress has 4 beaded seams under the fitted sheet. I placed the first of these grips on the top ledge, but this ledge was larger than the bottom ones and was difficult to install. I have been using these clips for many years. And this style/brand is the strongest and the best! It takes some effort to learn how to line them up and place them on a sheet that folds over the raised edge of the mattress. Once you're comfortable, every bed change becomes easier and easier. All sheets stay in place between shifts (and to be honest, we don't change sheets weekly). I even put them at the foot of the bed and kept the sheet in place so the layer never fell out. So great!
