Fully breathable mesh. Definitely not something you'd want to wear outside when it's raining. I'm not sure how comfortable I'll be wearing them in the pool water but I assume they'll be safe for that. I do not know. But my daughter loves them and looks forward to trying them out in the pool. They're great for summer wear when it's hot in Texas. There are no sweaty feet here.

These are super light shoes so they fit my daughter well to wear sandals and play in the water. but they're not durable enough to wear for long walks, hardcore gaming, or gym classes at school. Whatever they are they are well made and my daughter loves them - they are also easy to dry and well ventilated to keep feet from sweating or smelling. They were a bit wide on my daughter's foot but otherwise true to size.

I ordered the girls Pink Frogg Toggs Skipper shoe for my 8 year old girl who wears youth size 3 shoes. These shoes fit true to size. She says they are comfortable and lightweight. She uses them as play shoes and water shoes. They dry quicker than most of their shoes and I love that they can be hand washed. Both my daughter and I are satisfied with this product.
