Love the foil backing

Used it to wrap some outer tubes on a trailer and it worked well. I liked the presence of a foil backing that held the insulation together during installation and gave the end result an extra layer of protection.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

Useful: Pipes, fittings and accessories

I found this to be quite suitable for my intended use. The insulation did not separate from the foil. I used it to caulk between concrete and 5/4" decking. This was the only way I could think of to stop the draft. It worked as planned. I would buy it again if I need it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Absolutely useless for pipe insulation

When I tried to wrap this around the pipe it immediately started falling apart. Fiberglass fibers are scattered everywhere. Even after washing, I still felt itchy from the fibers on my skin. I had to use a shop vacuum with multiple filters to clean it. I changed into my long-sleeved clothes (I should have worn them to begin with), put my gloves back on and stuffed them into a garbage bag for disposal.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

smells best like fish in rough plumbing

Who Checks Fiberglass Tubing Sheeting? It is a whistle case for shouting loudly. What can really be said about tubular film? Well, if I have to write a review. Well it worked fine for wrapping/insulating my pipes but it smelled like fish. Here I said it. In fact, it smelled like fish. Not like salmon, but more fishy, like sardines. I have no idea why. I'd rather not smell like fish, but it did. The rest of the foil had to be taken to the garage because of the smell.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Surface
Cons
  • Have a Problem

Penetrates everywhere and under the skin.

It's a good deal, but this fiberglass goes everywhere. Gloves must be used. Somehow, even with gloves on, the fiberglass got on my face and clothes very easily. I tried to pack it neatly and bought several rolls but I couldn't even finish one because it was very bad. If I try again, I'll have to put on a mask and prepare to wear it. Never had this problem with the pink look. This glass penetrates the skin very easily, so you should wear a mask if you are Michael. I would recommend him if he…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Some little things
