I thought it was a little bigger. I use coloring books and pencils for my granddaughter. Colored books fit perfectly in the box. It is very durable.

I was skeptical that this foldable thing could actually hold any weight, but it does! Fits perfectly in my 35lb daughter's mirror chair and holds all of her 5 year old beauty products. She is a diva. There is enough space inside for all her hair products, makeup, hair chalk, lotion, etc. I've also seen her use it as a stool to stand up to get things in her room and it's very durable. You assemble it like folding cubes, but the soft top makes it really durable.
