Bought these at half price assuming the color wasn't popular but should have known the quality was second rate. The grommets fell apart right out of the La Vie box.

I like the style - they are slightly different due to the color of the sole. They also feel solidly built. They are a little tight at the widest part of my foot. I recently decided on another shoe that I wanted to trade in until I tried on a half size up and found it to be too big, so I went with the size I chose for this shoe. I think my foot is just a bit between sizes and if this pair stretches a bit from wear they are fine.

Longtime Frye fan, very happy with this shoe. I was concerned the color would be too red - like mahogany - but I'm happy to report they are cognac brown as described. I have had several pairs of Justin Low walkers and laces and look forward to using them for years to come!

I'm a size 7.5 but I usually wear a size 8 when it comes to running shoes because I usually want my toes to have some room. I took the plunge and ordered my regular size 7.5 and it fits perfectly leaving some room to breathe. The width is just right and the arch support is comfortable. It's a fairly durable and well-made shoe with good support on the bottom. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Edit added: the included laces are too long, they are 60 inches long. I love Fry's Boots. I have 5 pairs (different models) that fit perfectly. I have flat feet and their boots fit my feet very well. However, these shoes are very narrow and the arch feels like a car with hot wheels stuck under my foot. They can work if you have high arches. They cannot be worn if you prefer flat shoes.

Shoes were easy to order, dispatched quickly and delivered exactly as expected. There were creases in the leather on one side of one boot, but these corrected after some heat and wear. i love shoes

This is my first pair of FRYE shoes. I've been an ECCO friend for a long time (because they feel on my feet). I really like the quality of the FRYE shoes but they are definitely heavier than my ECCOs. After a long day of use, you know you've worn them. Otherwise these are great shoes.
