Would I buy again! I was skeptical that I could sit on it without storing anything in it and yes I can. It comes with a flat backing plate that straightens and strengthens the piece. This applies to the picture shown here. Great find!

This suitcase was just what I needed to create more space for my 6 year old grandchildren's belongings. At 15 x 15 x 30 it more than fills up space BUT more importantly there's a ton of storage for a ton of stuff. He's heavier than I thought. Of course you can put your feet on it and sit down.

I took a chance and bought this item thinking it would fit. Well it far exceeded my expectations! I usually don't leave reviews until I've tested the product for a while, but this time I had to make an exception. It's easy to set up as long as it was empty, I sat in the middle and it held up - I'm not that light mind you - and most of all it's too cute! It was just what my space needed, multifunctional, artful storage. I'm considering buying another one!

Just received. Looks good. Put it together. When I first sat on it, it broke and the lid broke. I didn't even sit to the end. It was probably half my weight and I'm only 170. It's possible the cap was already broken when I got it and that's why it failed. I have emailed the sellers and will update this review later if necessary. Update: Revain sent me a new one. I bought this pouf for its looks and size. It was perfect for my cozy living room. This is not a rigid suitcase/ottoman. The side panels look like they are 1/4" thick hardboard, covered with vinyl on the outside and covered with black foil on the inside. I wouldn't stand or sit on it. I use it as a storage box for my double bed. Ok my ottoman arrived today Friday March 6th 2020. I've never collected anything so easy in my life! I LOVE THIS OTTOMAN STORAGE! I needed something to put at the head of my bed for storage. Item appears solid and well made, I like the shabby chic decor but this looks too realistic and has room for improvement . It's the same print pattern over and over again with lots of dark spots that make the product look like something rusty of some kind of metal. I'm keeping it because it's different and I'd like to order a small one because the small one looks even better.
