Not Worth the Investment

The product did not meet my expectations as an industrial and scientific material. As a result of my tests, i determined that it is not durable enough for heavy-duty use. the cost was high for a material that did not perform well in extreme conditions..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Not durable enough for heavy-duty use.

Not Worth the Investment

Based on my experience THIS product is a total rip-off .While it claims to be an industrial and scientific grade composite, it falls far short of expectations. The only pro is that it is somewhat lightweight. However, the cons far outweigh this small benefit. It is incredibly difficult to work with and constantly frays. It is also prone to tearing, making it a less-than-reliable option. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better laminate or composite..

Pros
  • Durable due to Kevlar material
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other fabric options

Misleading photo. Not suitable for fabric.

Based on the photo I was expecting a lot more yarn and a tighter weave. That's 53 strands over a usable distance of 3.5 inches (there's a 1/4 inch wide band on each side, making it "technically" 4 inches). So each band (can't call them threads) is 1/16 inch wide. The fabric is very loose. Not acceptable for use in fabrics, can only be used for projects in combination with epoxy.

Pros
  • High Tenacity - 2 x 2 Twill
Cons
  • Fade
