Fuel Wheels Black Center 1001 63 B Review

Seriously. DO NOT BUY. I've read other reviews that said they break right away but I figured as long as I don't over tighten them and put a lock on them I'd be fine. The first time I drove a truck, it broke down. I can't even understand how plastic can be so bad it can break like that, but it does. Chinese garbage.

The original caps that came with my Fuel Krank wheels lasted 5 years. (one lost, 3 of them are still strong). This replacement only took a car ride. As other reviewers have pointed out, the plastic cracked around the screws, leaving them and the rest of the lid somewhere down the road. I'll give them another chance - if the replacement doesn't work the same way I'll try to order directly from Fuel.

So apparently someone thought they needed mine more than me and stole the original from my truck. It's good that they took only the cap, and not the entire steering wheel. In any case, the goods arrived the next day. Compared to other caps I've had on other bikes, the numbers stamped on the original matched the new cap I received. The original is also made in China. I think you get what you pay for! I live on a dirt road. I didn't even get to the end of the road when it took off and I'm very familiar and used to those wheels and a cap. Even when I take my car for a tire change or other wheel work, there is always a problem with them getting the cap on properly. So I started making it myself and making sure the two screws were the right size and they were screwed in properly, not too tight. I think this cover is just cheap plastic. You can see the two…
