Does it work for me - make sure it's connected to the computer and not the monitor

I couldn't get it to work at the cable->monitor end, but it worked fine when it was on the motherboard was connected. Fixed an annoying issue where all apps would move to another screen when my monitor was asleep!

Windows 7 sucks. This device solved the problem EDID

Windows 7 is annoying. This device solved the EDID problem. Installed in line with this unit. Windows 7 no longer searches for the monitor type when KVM is enabled. Windows sucks, and this device makes it a little bit better. The real solution is to uninstall Windows and install Linux.

It makes all the difference. I had a DVI KVM with no EDID. It messed up my screens a lot. I mean big time. I just installed them but that completely fixed the problem.

could not get them to stream video under any circumstances

Under no circumstances have I been able to get them to transfer video. EDID is great but since there is no video coming from behind I found it useless.
