My UL rod broke about 1 1/4 from the end of the tip. The included tips were actually too big. I had to cut off another 1/2 inch to make it work. The holes (where the line comes out) are too small compared to the original tip.

My husband repaired his fishing rod. I can give an updated review when he goes fishing again and if it holds up. While I bet 4 until I check.

Easy to use. The 3 different tip sizes corresponded very well with the standard rod tip sizes. Applying hot glue when heated gives a very workable material and cures very well without slipping. Very useful in the field. Will be used again to replace rod tips

I'm glad I found them. They were the perfect tip replacement for my Falcon rod. Impossible to find micro devices here. Just a little advice. Cut off a few flakes of glue and apply to the tip before heating with a lighter. Then place it on the top of the pole in the desired position. The problem is that air will get trapped if you don't do this first. Of course, use needle nose pliers.

I'm a happy person. My wife enjoys fishing with me and is good company. She broke the tip of her 7 1/2 foot sea rod. Although it was a large rod I couldn't find any replacement tips small enough for it. Local Walmart and Fly only had HUGE replacement tips. only suitable for HUGE saltwater rods (I live in northern New Mexico and we mainly fish for trout). I found this product here at Revain. After delivery, I repaired her pole in less than five minutes!
