Description of πŸ“· Fujinon GF100-200mm f/5.6 R LM OIS WR Zoom Lens

Ultra-high image quality - The lens is made up of 20 elements in 13 groups. This includes two super ED lenses and one aspherical lens which assists in minimizing the chromatic and field curvature aberrations that can occur within the image. Powerful image stabilization - The lens is equipped with excellent five stop image stabilization (CIPA guidelines). this allows photographers to make the most of the performance of the gfxâ€s high image resolution even when taking telephoto shots without the use of a tripod. Silent and high-speed autofocus - The linear motor which drives the focus elements is accurate, quiet, and fast. The lens also includes a new mechanism for securing the linear motor into position when turning the power the camera off or during image playback. This prevents the lens elements from moving unnecessarily when the lens is not in use. Robust durable design, appropriate for tough shooting environments - The lens has been sealed in 10 areas for dust and weather resistance to allow shooting with stability in tough environments while also operating at temperatures down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees Celsius). FUJINON GF1.4x TC WR compatible AΜ‚β‚¬β€œ the FUJINON 1.4x teleconverter (GF1.4x TC WR) extends the telephoto shooting range of the gf100-200mmf5.6 R LM OIS WR to 140-280mm (equivalent to 111-221mm in 35mm format) while maintaining superior image quality.

Powerful lens takes powerful photos

This lens is very good. I wish Fujinon would release a true telephoto zoom lens, but it's pretty close. Combined with the amazing GFX-100 camera, you'll see amazing image stabilization and stunning images of whatever you point at.

Ideal for landscape photographers

Sharp optics and low weight for a medium format. Excellent build. Ideal for landscape photography. The tripod collar is a nice addition, but I wish it had a built in ball head mount. You need to buy a plate that adds weight. This and the 32-64 mm make a good combination for hiking.

Oh Wicked Wicked Lens

This should scare all those little people who shoot with their tiny mirrorless cameras. Incredibly sharp lens for a professional adult instrument. Yes, it can be a bit slow, but damn it's sharp: the corner of each pixel is shockingly sharp. Another Apple Jack, right out of the box, puts everything on 21, the winner.

Great SLR Lenses Lenses

When I first saw this lens mentioned I was quite disappointed with its widest aperture of only 5.6. However, when I received this lens I fully understood why and understood what Fuji was aiming for. In short, this lens is amazingly sharp, very light, has amazing image stabilization and is the perfect all-round lens. I bet Fuji saw that they had already built the perfect 250mm lens and realized they didn't need to duplicate the 110-120mm lens mix and instead opted for an amazing all-around lens…

Light, sharp and very well made.

If you are considering this lens for anything other than macro and landscape photography, you may be disappointed in its performance. Why? Simply put, it has a relatively slow, albeit constant, f/5.6 aperture and is insanely sharp. Sharpness is not always ideal for portraits. It is also preferable to use a large maximum aperture to illuminate the background outside the studio. Sports? Despite the GFX cameras' continuous 3fps, it can be used for some sports, but the 35mm FOV equivalent is around
