Not Worth the Hassle!

Based on my experience, this scanner is not worth the frustration it causes. The image quality is poor and the scanning process is slow and inconsistent. The only positive aspect is its compact size. However, the poor performance outweighs this lone advantage. Save yourself the headache and invest in a more reliable scanner.

Pros
  • Fast and accurate scanning of various card types including embossed cards
Cons
  • Limited to scanning one card at a time, which can be time-consuming for large batches

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

like not a bad scanner and very flexible software. Able to recognize barcodes for sorting in bulk scanning. But the trouble is, when scanning from the button, although it does not show windows, like some debility cheap tablet scanners, it removes the focus from the active application. The software is stale. It is issued by the manager upon request through the form at the office. site. Basically I ignore any CD-ROM. We don't have them anyway. Time to study all the features of the software and…

Pros
  • Speed. Smart software.
Cons
  • Lightly steamed software. paperstream distribution kit is issued upon request by the manager. software in silent scanning mode switches the focus to its minimized application from the active one (i. E. text input stops working until you poke the mouse into the desired window).

Excellent in our neurological practice

Wow. Much better than powered card scanners. My co-workers LOVE it. We bought them for all of our check-in stations. What a solid product. There is no longer a need to rid Ambir scanners of junk in people's wallets. The tablet is much easier and scans faster. wait less. The staff went out of their way to tell me how much better it was. Forget the CardScan and Ambir nonsense - it's much better.

This. Thing. Is. Wonderful!

It literally works as expected. I was hesitant to buy this because the auto rotate and crop features seemed too good to be true. But actually it's not! The only part I don't like is that when scanning an image with dark edges, the edge is cropped. I have yet to find a way to stop this, but that doesn't mean there isn't a way. It seems to make the background black to crop it and this allows the dark border to blend in with the dark background. That's my theory anyway. However, this scanner works
