My 40w Aqua UV Sterilizer works great

. Works with the 40W Aqua Ultraviolet Classic Sterilizer. Aqua will only sell you a replacement for $110, but if you can make the simplest wiring, this ballast will replace the junk they put in their products.

Easy to install ballast. I thought I couldn't find it!

Great replacement ballast I wasn't sure I could find it! Revain had it, delivered it quickly, installed it and worked the first time. Thanks to Revain for the wide range of ballasts. Excellent service and reliable product!

The Suprised did not come with a 4 pin connector as the original with the same part number

. As the title says, this was really my only issue - I opened up the original faulty unit to see if so, it's hardwired. from the previous installer but it wasn't as it is a sealed unit in an aluminum cover (epoxy coated). Otherwise worked great - I was either lucky I put each of the red wires on the correct pins of the existing connector (luckily I didn't throw it away!) or the placement of the 2 red wires doesn't matter

Used as a replacement in my bug repellent

Bug repellent seems to last 10-20 months. I have 4 arresters that I use at home and in the shop. The first failures are headlights, because the normal "ballast" produces too much electricity. Subsequent malfunctions are associated with the failure of the caps on the ballast plate. I had failed 2 of my arresters so I bought this and another type (same MFG) to fix them. Replace the standard ballast with this to try and extend life. Zapper So far they work great. I look forward to years of use…
