Soft, warm, can play in the snow for hours

I bought these for my 4 year old to play in the snow. You are perfect! We still put thin cotton socks on him and pull them over them to keep his feet warm when he's playing in the snow for hours! And they are soft, don't itch/itch which is a big plus for us as my son has eczema. All in all a great purchase.

Pros
  • Merino wool
Cons
  • Earplugs required

Warm but thick and rough

Good wool socks for little ones are hard to find. I wish they could do better. While they've kept feet warm during the Minnesota winter, these socks are anything but soft or comfortable. They are rough and crunchy. They have not softened after washing. With Merino I was expecting something cozier. Also note that they are very slippery on hardwood floors. My son couldn't wear them indoors. We reserved them for outdoor adventures in the snow.

Pros
  • Made from 50% merino wool, 40% nylon, 9% polyester, 1% spandex
Cons
  • Legacy style

Slightly itchy

I bought these shoes for my kids to ski. One of them wore socks. The other two put them on and took them off after about 5 minutes as they were very itchy. We washed them and tried again but they are still itchy. We'll probably use them as a second pair of socks (with one on the bottom) but for now I'd probably just ask them to use two regular socks instead of buying these. One nice thing I would like to say is that they fit our young children very well.

Pros
  • SELECT A SIZE: XS for kids 3-8 or S for kids 8-13
Cons
  • So far so good
