These are great lights and look great on our Christmas tree. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the light defaults to lighting scheme #1 after you turn it off then back on. It wouldn't be so bad if #1 was just solid, but it's a blinking light and not what I wanted on my tree so I have to push a button every time I turn on the light on my tree.

Light string settings are not saved/saved when the timer is used so when the timer is turned back on the light will start cycling through all the settings as in demo mode. I have multiple strings plugged into different outlets so the light cycles are different for each string. It's very frustrating and very hard to watch... I think I'll try leaving the lights on 24/7 for a month or come back and find another solution.

shines normally. I have them on a timer and every time the timer turns them on they go back to flashing and giving me a headache. I drop them every time I enter a room, but that sucks. I bought 3 and returned 2. I would return the 3rd if I didn't need it and it was already strung.

I bought these for Christmas decoration but the device doesn't remember what mode was on when the light went out. Additionally, the default flashes are all on and all off. I use wifi enabled ports to turn on the light and want the light to stay on all the time without flickering. Therefore, flashlights need to remember what mode they are in between power-on cycles.

As mentioned earlier, there is no memory. So if you use them with a timer, the setting will be forgotten and they will go back to flash cycle every time. They are bright and have a long enough cord for outdoor use. It's just frustrating that they have to reset every day when they have a timer. It would be much better if the default was always just checked and not one of the flashy options!
