The lighting is not compatible with electric timers.
The settings of the light string are not saved/saved when using the timer, therefore when the timer is switched on again the headlights start to cycle through all the settings as in demo mode. I have multiple strings plugged into different outlets so the light cycles are different for each string. It's very frustrating and very hard to watch... I think I'll try leaving the lights on 24/7 for a month or come back and find another solution.
