It was ok to assemble, the instructions are questionable but useful. They use screws and metal parts that make assembly easy and the finished product looks beautiful. I don't use backing because it looks sticky. It's not as durable as I'd like, but it fits well in a small space and looks nice.

This is not the gray I was hoping for but it is a nice sandy texture with hints of grey. It is assembled very simply - a screwdriver - a hammer - and laid on the carpet. A must have when you put your back up to strengthen it. I just put duct tape on it it seems. It's a little difficult to put on the back and make it perfect. One of my nails went through and missed the mark. hope it lasts I only use it for a few books in my office.

We are very disappointed with this bookshelf. It took a while (which we were informed of) just to get it and is missing 3 screws. I have emailed the seller but have not received a reply. We are currently checking our bearing bolts to see if any of ours will fit. But not getting everything you paid for and not even getting a response from the seller is very disappointing.
