From what I understand they are designed for climbing not breaking. I only use my boat on the open sea and have never fallen into anything. My money and the sensor are gone - only the cables to the mirror and mount remain. I am very disappointed in this product. I found AirMar/Furuno better.

Broken old fish finder, had another unit but no converter, ordered this and it matched the fish finder well. Not super strong but gave me good flat bottoming and trolling.

Direct replacement for the same transducer that was damaged in the marina. It was well packaged in a Furuno box. This is the cheapest Airmar trio in the Furuno range. The next one is about 4 times bigger and has more power. This is a great unit for coastal use.

This converter installs easily with all hardware included for a clean install. The kit included screws for the case, cable clamps and even a piece of plastic to cover the connector for cables. It's a triducer so it includes speed and temperature sensors, everything works fine. I would give one star for the display lock twist mechanism, it is weak and mine has stopped working.
