This product is easy to install but it is in a very hard to reach place, if you have big hands it will be difficult. It took a while but I installed it. After installing the pigtail, I turned on the jeep and pressed the button to turn off the start/stop, then plugged in the obd2 adapter and drove the car for about 20 minutes. After that I think it will know and next time you start the car the light on the switch will come on after about 3 seconds.

This unit works great. The reason for the four stars is that you think it won't work at first and you have to spend time and effort (since the Wrangler isn't easy to maneuver) reinstalling it. All you have to do is make sure the engine is running and the auto start/stop button is activated. Turn the car on and off a few times by activating the button again. In the end it will work and stay forever. Works great afterwards. Love it.

So far so good. At first I thought it wouldn't work, but then I disconnected it from the processor, set the autostart button on the dash to the off position, reconnected the module with the engine running and it worked. The next time I started my engine, the auto start button was disabled by default, as the product intended. Great deal, much cheaper than other brands and still works well. Will update the review if that changes.

This product connected to the network as advertised but does not remember the last auto start/stop setting as advertised. By default it's always off, which is what I wanted. If you think you want to use the auto start/stop feature, it won't work. Another nice point: after installation, remember that the automatic start-stop function does not work until the engine is warm. I'm tired of hitting the auto stop button every time I get in my car and I wanted something that remembered the last setting. This device was significantly cheaper than others, so I gave it a try. It disables Autostop but won't let me enable it. I don't mind because I hate auto-stop, but it would be nice to have this feature available from time to time.
