Works great for crafting

This is amazing! will leave a slight residue on contact with the glaze, but that's to be expected. I just polish it and all is good.

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Volume

It's thick and has a lot of texture that will carry over to the "bottom" side of your glass. Compared to the thinner products from Bullseye or Papyros, Fuseworks burn paper doesn't create a nice flat bottom. You need to sand or file your items so they don't rub against skin or fabric (we're talking glass jewelry). It definitely protects the oven. I will give

I think it was just as described.

Maybe I didn't read the description very carefully but I think I got what I ordered: 4 pieces of burn paper, 4 SMALL burn papers. I'm not impressed with Fuseworks because of this and other items I bought at the same time. pay a lot; get a little.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fusework Kiln Paper

It's okay if you don't have anything else. The glass pieces stick too much to this paper when melted in the microwave and I have to do a lot more filing to smooth the rough edges. It is better to use thinner paper. This paper is thick enough to create a texture on the back of the glass, or if cut into thin strips it can be used to create channels in the glass for hanging chains.

Pros
  • Permanent Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Fuseworks oven paper is not recommended

I would not recommend buying this oven paper. This product leaves the edges of the molten glass very sharp and rough, and the back of the molten piece is very smooth. No matter which side of the burning paper is used, the back will be rough and the fused sides will be sharp. Due to the sharp edges, you cannot use your glass item for pendants etc. Once I swapped out the firing paper for another paper product, the sides of the molten glass became very smooth and the bottom wasn't rough.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
