I have a set I bought from a local kitchen store a few years ago and I love it. But I wanted more, so I ordered this set. I've used them all the time to "wrap" sliced lemons, limes, avocados, bowls of leftovers, etc. Just make sure the surface of the item to be covered and the bay itself are dry or it will slip off.

I have followed all the manufacturers instructions and have had no problems. I love these things, ordered 2 sets. I use them for half an apple, half a cutter, half an onion, half a cabbage, etc. and will replace them when they become worn or cracked due to the inevitable misuse of myself or another family member. I rinse in very warm soapy water and stick the towel in at the end while they dry on the sink.

So far I love these babies! I've used them on a variety of fruits and vegetables. I tried half an apple a few days ago just to see how it works. It's still there and very good after a few days. Just a slight brown tint on the cut of the apple. I just leave them in my vegetable drawer to have them there when I need them. Highly recommended for small items up to half a head of lettuce.

I like this concept, but it needs an overhaul. It is meant to work with fruit/vegetables etc and can also be used as a lid. But it's hard to put on when wet. Half of the fruit slices are usually wet, so they'll slip if you need to stretch them a bit. Definitely when the food is clumsily formed. It's better if it's a standard round shape. bought 4 packs as a gift for my grandmother as we have a special glass bowl that we used for family dinners in which we put salad or crabmeat and there is always a problem with the plastic wrap sticking to the glass bowl. I heard about it and thought it was the perfect solution. At first I was very happy about my CoverBlubbers! There was nothing I could use them for the day they arrived so I didn't try them until a few days later. I tried purple first, on the 8 inch pan I have. Perfectly covered. I put it in the fridge. The next morning I went to collect leftovers and found that the purple cover was cracked on one page.
