I have had two of these cases - loved them so much. I changed my phone because I thought it was broken. I had to talk to people exclusively on the speakerphone or headphones because it was very often muffled. Then I realized that it was better to take it out of the case and found that the problem is the same even with a brand new phone. The problem was solved with a new case. So I don't know why but after two phones with this case I found that it covers part of the microphone.

finally i upgraded my phone, i had this exact case for my 6s and i was hoping to find one for my new phone. I've dropped it so many times, and my fall saved it. Bought about 5 of these phones out of the last 3 I had. I love these covers and they wipe down easily when needed. This is a photo of the case for my XR.
