Wrong size protective gear

Great concept. The pads work as intended on impact. But the size is not the same. For size M, the specified calf circumference must be between 14 and 15 inches. Thighs - 16.5 - 17.5. My calves are 14 inches and my hips are 17 inches. Clearly M. However, the calf circumference is only 11 inches, which restricts my circulation. When I contacted the company they said to order a larger size. That's not very good customer service. G shape needs to be fixed. see their sizing charts or increase the…

Attention skin reaction!

I have worn this product snowboarding and it has been very comfortable. The next day I had a red line that looked like a slight irritation. So I took a few days break from wearing it. When the redness went away, I tried again. More redness and some itching. Then I decided to wear them over tights so they don't irritate the skin. They didn't stay in place, but I didn't have any redness either. On a warm afternoon recently, I decided to wear them without tights again. By the end of the day I had…

Comfortable and breathable. Reliable set of knee pads.

These protectors are a great choice for trail riding. You'll probably want something more powerful for mostly enduro/downhill, but for general trail they were great. They were a bit tight when I first put them on, but by the end of that first ride I forgot I was wearing them. The protectors hold well and do not slip. The fabric is very breathable around the foot and even the pads have ventilation holes in important places. No problems with them even when temps hit 80-80 F. Haven't crashed with…

Best Value MTB Knee Pads

So it's time to finally check them out because I had a pretty bad accident. First, my riding style and setup is trail riding - lots of climbs for fast descents. Lots of roots and some rocks, nothing extreme but fast in places. I also ride 2-3 times a week. Here's the story: I recently fell at fairly high speed and ended up spraining my wrist and hitting the ground with my knees. Rating: I didn't even notice the impact on my knees. It wasn't until I was driving that I remembered to check my…
