🚗 Gabriel 49387 Shock Absorber, 2 Pack: Enhance Vehicle Stability and Ride Comfort Review

I had to seal the duct connections with teflon tape to avoid air leakage, gaskets are not enough. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product.

This product started leaking after 5 months and I had to replace it again which I am not happy with. It is like a warranty product and is not covered by warranty.

They were pretty cool until they stopped holding air. Right now I can only get them to 100 psi (200 max) and about a day later they go down to 40 (25 psi min). I think I'll go with Bilstein 5100 soon.

These shock absorbers work great. The only problem with the installation is that my 4Runner doesn't have enough room to work, not because of the bumps. It takes a little patience to get the old nut off the top of the old damper, but after that the rest of the job is done well enough. The shocks came loose right after filling and I couldn't be happier! mitch

I had Gabriel Hijackers years ago and needed something to stiffen a 4Runner under load (trailer). These air shock absorbers did their job perfectly. Applied Pressure Area 25lb. up to 200lbs 80lbs. Pressure, I get a good ride and it lifts my 4Runner about an inch and a half. Airlines seem a little cheap, but if they hold up, they're a good buy.
