Great shock absorbers: Shock absorbers

These are great shock absorbers that live on lousy gravel and stone roads. I've worn them for a long time and will buy them again when needed. Very happy with them and the price is great.

Pros
  • Vibration and vibration control system
Cons
  • Available in black only

Expected replacement every 6 months

Installed on 2005 Silverado 2500HD. The shock works well, but not for long. These are good aftermarket shocks. If you don't mind, change your shock absorbers every 6 months. Back to the Bilsteins.

Pros
  • Powertrain Products
Cons
  • Uncertain

It is not a direct replacement for the 2010 GMC.

They are not a direct replacement for a 2010 GMC 2500 HD. They are made in Mexico. They are supplied without new bushings (original bushings do not fit). The shocks don't even come with a top nut (the original nut will not fit). BUY MONROE made in America there!

Pros
  • Shock absorber
Cons
  • old
