Time will tell Shock Absorbers

They were a direct replacement for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with no lift kits or alignment kits. I didn't notice a dramatic improvement in ride quality, just quieter than my tired stock shocks. Was honestly hoping for a little more improvement but for the price if they last they are worth it. Not very impressed but not disappointed either.

Pros
  • Fits front: 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Cons
  • Available in white only

For 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee - HORRIBLE

I'll have to revise my review in a few months. These shocks have gone from good to bad. It started with a little rattle, then a knock and a creak. Squeak louder than an old mattress spring at a no tell motel! And it wasn't the bushings that creaked, it was the pistons of the shock absorbers. I replaced them with Monroe Reflex Truck shocks and the ride is much better and my suspension is smooth again.

Pros
  • Fit: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Expensive

'Great deal' turned out to be poor quality and very expensive

Me claim to have professionally installed them on my 2004 jeep grand cherokee it all started with missing the rubber bushings needed to mount them on the shock absorber the shop where i installed them ordered new bushings and did the installation completed. At first everything went well. The ride was smooth and it improved handling. About 5,000 miles later when the days got very cold a strange popping noise started. It sounded like it was coming from somewhere ahead but I never thought that…

Pros
  • MaxComfort - Larger bore 1 13⁄16" (46mm) allows the shock to react more quickly to bumps and other road bumps for the smoothest possible ride
Cons
  • weak
