The mini scissors worked great and were very sharp for the first 4 weeks before becoming dull. I have to cut several times before the scissors cut the thread. I've only used it to trim threads so I don't know why they became dull. The lighter scissors seem to be well made, but I haven't used them that much because they are very stiff and the serrated construction is sheet metal. It's my own fault for not checking the sizing before purchasing, but I wanted to trim the edges for sewing things…

The scissors are heavy, ergonomic, well-made and durable. They are also quite sharp and cut nicely and accurately right out of the box. I can't wait to use them; they are, dare I say, great. The packaging was also quite thoughtful, in a nice box rather than vacuum packed plastic. Possibly even better than the famous brand name I used when I worked in an art supply store and 20% off the price. Also, they didn't contain any "encouragement" to leave a good review, so I can tell you it's 1000%…

I just received these shears today and unfortunately I have to return them. It's a great value and the free scissors are really good. Unfortunately I have small hands and the handles of the scissors are quite large. I feel like I have to try and stretch out my small hand to hold the scissors to cut and it gets pretty tiring after a few cuts. I've compared them to my 8" Westcott Titanium Bonded Scissors and my Westcott is a lot more comfortable to hold as the handles are a lot smaller. So back…
